Wraparound Care & Clubs

Exceptional care before and after school

At Polam School, we understand the demands of modern family life, and we're here to support your family with our warm and enriching wraparound care.

We offer wrap around care from 7:30am - 6:00pm during term time, and 8:00am - 5:30pm outside of term time, and remain open for 48 weeks of the year.

Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Clubs operate for both Nursery and School children.

Opening between 7.30am and 8.30am during term time, children have a light breakfast of toast and cereal.

Bookable in advance, the cost is £4.04 between 7.30-8.00am (limited availability) and £3.62 between 8.00-8.30am.

After School Care

Our After School care is available for Nursery children and School children. Clubs run from 4pm until 6pm and include a light tea. Baby Badgers are cared for within the Nursery itself, whilst the Badgers make use of the School hall and playground. The clubs are very flexible and can be booked in advance via our Parent app.

The cost is just £3.62 per half hour (4-6pm) and is booked and paid for in advance using the app.

We also offer a number of extra-curricular clubs and activities after school, many of which are free of charge.

Main School - Holiday Club

Main School Holiday Club

Our unique home from home Holiday Club is open to all children aged 4 years plus (Polam and non-Polam children) who are attending full-time school, and offers a diverse and ever-changing range of activities – from crafts to sports activities and fancy-dress to a swim in our pool. Every day is different!

The Club is run by a qualified and experienced team of staff, who get to know each child by name.

Making full use of the school’s superb facilities including the gym, computers, art resources and playground, and using a wide range of toys, games and resources, the Club provides a secure, friendly, and homely environment in which to leave your child.

Holiday Club is open each day from 8.30am to 4.00pm and includes a lunch prepared and cooked on the premises and a mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack. We offer a breakfast session from 8.00am-8.30am, and two late sessions, running from 4.00pm to 5.00pm and 5.00pm to 5.30pm, which include a light tea, at additional cost. You can choose from one session to a full week, and anywhere in-between!

We operate our Holiday Club throughout the year (with the exception of 2 weeks in August, 2 weeks at Christmas and bank holidays at Easter).

Our unique home from home Nursery Holiday Club is open to all Polam Nursery children until they turn 4, and offers a variety of suitable activities, from messy play to rhyme time, cooking to construction, arts and crafts to party time.

The Club is run by our qualified and experienced team of staff who will be familiar to the children.

Making full use of the school’s superb facilities, including our well-resourced nursery rooms and all weather outside area, the club provides a secure, friendly and homely environment in which to leave your child.

Our Nursery Holiday Club is open each day from 8.30am to 4.00pm and includes a lunch prepared and cooked on the premises and a mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack. We offer a breakfast session from 8.00am-8.30am, and two late sessions,
